Arsenal is understood to be a longtime admirer of the midfielder and tried to sign him from PSG before he joined Leipzig. Recent reports highlighted how they could get him this time and pair him with Martin Odegaard.

However, Arsenal will have to fight hard for his signature. According toΒ Fussball Transfers, rivals Tottenham and United are also eager.

The 23- year-old has enjoyed a fruitful season scoring six goals and providing four assists in 22 league appearances, for RB Leipzig.

His versatility has been impressive, as Nkunku has played in midfield, out wide, or even upfront.
