Manchester United have joined Arsenal in the race to sign RB Leipzig star, Christopher Nkunku according to reports.
Fussball Transfers reported that while Nkunku has no concrete offers on the table yet, he is attracting a lot of interest from England.
Arsenal is understood to be a longtime admirer of the midfielder and tried to sign him from PSG before he joined Leipzig. Recent reports highlighted how they could get him this time and pair him with Martin Odegaard.
However, Arsenal will have to fight hard for his signature. According to Fussball Transfers, rivals Tottenham and United are also eager.
The 23- year-old has enjoyed a fruitful season scoring six goals and providing four assists in 22 league appearances, for RB Leipzig.
His versatility has been impressive, as Nkunku has played in midfield, out wide, or even upfront.
Nkunku has helped Leipzig establish themselves as the best of the rest behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season.
A deal will not be cheap. The Frenchman has a contract until 2024 and Leipzig will demand a sum significantly higher than the €13m they used in signing him from PSG.
