Manchester United handed major injury boost ahead of Europa League clash with AC Milan

Manchester United duo of Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani are back in training ahead of Manchester United’s Europa League showdown with AC Milan on Thursday.

 

Pogba has been out since February 6, after limping out of the Premier League clash with Everton with a thigh problem.

The Red Devils boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggested last week that the French international might not return until after the international break, but seeing the midfielder in training ground will serve as a timely boost before the trip to San Siro.

 

Cavani was also pictured training with the first-team squad and could be in line to return this week with the last 16 tie poised at 1-1 after the first leg.

Donny van de Beek also returned having not featured for the club since February 14, David de Gea returned to training after a period of self-isolation.

The Spaniard returned from his hometown following the birth of his first child in early March, and also missed matches against Crystal Palace, City, Milan, and West Ham.
