Manchester City to know European football fate on June 10.

Manchester City will know the fate of their European football as they await the outcome of the appeal against the Ban and fine handed by Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB).

On April 14, Manchester City were banned and fined for breaching UEFA’s Financial Fair Play and club licensing regulations, after being found guilty by an Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) according to Sky

Man City “overstated its sponsorship revenue in its accounts and in the break-even information submitted to UEFA between 2012 and 2016”. according to UEFA.

City were also found guilty of “failing to cooperate in the investigation by the CFCB” and will be banned from participating in European in 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons.

The club appealed against the fine and the 2-year ban from European football.

The appeal case is set for hearing by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on June 8-10.

Kevin De Bruyne had hinted that he may leave the citizens if the ban is upheld

“Two years would be long. One year is something I might be able to cope with” said De Bruyne

City have a chance of overturning the decision according to past records of big European clubs who have recorded success against UEFA.
