Man United vs Man City : Debruyne Wary of Man United after champions league exit

Manchester City Kelvin Debruyne has revealed that he is wary of Man United following their exit from the champions league, as both teams face off in the Manchester Derby.

Man United will welcome Pep Guardiol’s side for the showdown at Old Trafford, and the Red Devils will be looking to upstage their rivals after their exit from the champions league during the week.


Despite winning four consecutive matches in the premier league, Seventh place on the table Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side are under pressure.


United have come top in the last two meetings between both sides, with a 1-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium in January, followed by a 2-0 win in March 2020.


“I don’t think the game is more important for them,” said City star De Bruyne.

“But we need to be careful because everything that has happened this week, it is a good game for them to change the switch.


“They will want to show a different side to what happened in Leipzig [3-2 loss to RB Leipzig] and we need to be aware of that.”


Bruno Fernandes will spearhead the Red Devils, With 15 goals and 11 assists more than any other United player since his arrival in January.

“They have some new players and maybe they will play a bit more offensively but we will see,” De Bruyne added, after City lost three games to United last season.
