Man United suffer pogba injury blow after he limped off in draw against Everton

Manchester United have suffered a major injury blow as Paul Pogba limped off after 39 minutes of their Premier League clash with Everton.


Pogba has been in good shape in recent weeks, but now he seems ready for a spell on the sidelines.

Towards the end of the first half, the French midfielder suddenly pulled off after making a simple pass to Victor Lindelof.


He pointed at his right thigh as they treated him on the field, before being replaced by Fred.


United had a two goal lead through Edinson Cavani and Bruno Fernandes at the time.

Everton struck back, leveling through Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Rodriguez.

Scott McTominay appeared to have won the game for United with a header in the 70th minute.

But Everton found a dramatic late draw via Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with the forward scoring with the last kick of the game in a 3-3 draw.


Solskjaer says Paul Pogba will have a thigh complaint scanned on Sunday after limping off in the first half.


After the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told MUTV: β€œThigh, yeah. It looks like a muscle injury, so tomorrow we have to examine it, do a scan and treat it. Hopefully, he recovers quickly. “
