Liverpool vs Tottenham: klopp warns Mourinho it is business as usual’

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has insisted he won’t lose confidence over how well Tottenham Hotspur are playing.

The top two teams in the premier league will clash on Wednesday night at Anfield, while Apirs a looking to consolidate on their first position, the host are also looking to be at the zenith.

Ahead of the encounter, Klopp has told Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, that “it is business as usual”.

“Tottenham has the quality of the top teams and when they have the ball they show that.

“They defend like a top team and at the moment probably have the best counter-attacking movements.

“It is not that they play just a little bit of football, they are a proper package at the moment but that doesn’t cost me confidence when I think about my team. It is business as usual,” Klopp said.

Tottenham played out a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, with a blunder from Hugo Lloris allowing the Eagles the level late in the game.

Mourinho’s side are currently top of the premier league with 25 points, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.
