Liverpool are planning a summer move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus, according to reports.
The 23-year-old entered the ranks with the Bundesliga 2 side 1860.
Neuhaus had an impressive 2016/17 season, which tempted Gladbach to sign him that summer. He signed a long-term contract with the Bundesliga team.
After spending a season on loan with Fortuna Dusseldorf, Neuhaus broke into the first team of his parent club in the 2018/19 campaign.
The midfielder has been a key player for the German side for the past three years. He has 14 goals and 18 assists for them in 102 appearances in all competitions.
According to Sport Bild reporter the Reds are keeping an eye on Neuhaus as Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of him.
Neuhaus has six goals and six assists in all competitions this season for Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Bundesliga star could replace Georginio Wijnaldum, who is out of contract this summer. He has been linked with a move to Barcelona, Inter Milan, and PSG.
