Liverpool optimistic Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson, and Fabinho will be fit to face Leicester City.

Liverpool are hopeful Captain Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson, and striker Fabinho will be fit in time to feature against Leicester City in the premier league on Saturday.

Liverpool  Captain Jordan Henderson  was substituted in the half time in England 2-0 loss to Belgium in the UEFA nations league, having suffered a muscle tightness, while Roberson was left out of Scotland squad as a precaution having complained of tightness in the hamstring.

According to the Mirror, the Reds are hopeful that Henderson and Robertson will both pass late fitness tests to face the foxes.

Fabinho missed Liverpool’s last two matches due to a hamstring injury, he is expected to return to training this week.

Jordan Henderson has been released from the England squad and returned to the club for further assessment,’ a statement from the club read.

“The midfielder was withdrawn at half-time of the Three Lions’ clash with Belgium on Sunday night after feeling “a bit of tightness” according to Gareth Southgate.

“On Monday evening, the Football Association confirmed Henderson will therefore sit out Wednesday’s UEFA Nations League meeting with Iceland.

“Liverpool are back in action on Sunday when they host Leicester City in the Premier League.’
