Liverpool  midfielder Georgino Wijnaldum has been reportedly offered to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

However, the Bavarian giants are likely to look elsewhere to bolster this midfield options this summer.

Wijnaldum’s current contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season with the midfielder appearing set to leave after five seasons with the reds.

The Dutchman was linked with a move to Barcelona last summer and has been a target for the La Liga giants and Ronald Koeman reportedly keen to bring him in on a free transfer.

Reports however have suggested Barca have slowed their interest with the club under intense financial pressure and unable to meet wage demands.

Bayern are not in the running for his signature and are likely to focus on younger targets with the  club looking at Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus.

The report adds ‘several top clubs’ are in for Wijnaldum.

With Wijnaldum’s future uncertain, Liverpool are thought to be considering options to replace the Netherlands international with club legend John Barnes believing Brighton stat Yves Bissouma would be a “good fit”
