Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish discharged from hospital

Liverpool legend, Sir Kenny Dalglish was discharged on Saturday, from hospital.

The 69-year-old was hospitalized on Wednesday for the treatment of an infection intravenous antibiotics.

Former Liverpool manager is now recuperating in self-isolation at his home

A statement released on club site “Thank you for all of your well wishes over the last few days. Dalglish said

‪”I’m delighted to be back home with the family after receiving brilliant care from the NHS, which we appreciate now more than ever.

Marina and I would like to express our immense gratitude to the medical staff who cared for me and who continue to treat countless others throughout the country during an incredibly challenging period.

Sir Kenny Dalglish urged members of the public to stay indoors and follow government guidelines in order to win the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

“‪I know the sun is shining for many of you, but I urge you to stay home and follow the government guidelines to the letter. This is undoubtedly the best way that we can look after one another at this time. He added

“We will now be in full lockdown for the recommended amount of time in order to protect the lives of others.

The former Liverpool and Celtic player won 8 league titles, two FA Cup and three European titles with the Reds.

He also won a league title while managing Blackburn 1995.
