Raphinha

Liverpool  are reportedly leading the race for Leeds United’s star Raphinha ahead of the summer window, according to TuttoMercatoWeb reporter Gianluigi Longari.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the Brazilian for several months, and Jurgen Klopp is said to be interested in adding to his front line.

The Inconsistency of Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane  at times the last term have highlighted the need for a new face to at least add some rotational opportunities for Klopp.

The 24-year-old whose playing style has been previously compared to Angel Di Maria would fit in reasonably well at the club, but it remains to be seen if Liverpool will spend more than £40m for a new forward.

The Red have been linked with financially reasonable targets, including RB Salzburg’s Patson Daka who played a tremendous season in Austria.

Daka netted 34 goals in all competitions this season in 42 appearances so it is easy to see why there are some English clubs on alert to bring the 22-year-old to the Premier League.
