Liverpool are reportedly interested in Inaki Williams in the summer transfer window. The Reds are preparing an offer worth up to €50m to secure the Spain international away from Athletic Bilbao.

Inaki joined the Los Leones youth team in 2012 and after a couple of years, he made progress and got in the first-team squad.

Since then, Williams has gone on to establish himself as a regular member of Los Leonesβ€˜ senior side, having 288 appearances, scoring 66 goals and 40 assists, which seems not too impressive.

Liverpool’s continued interest in the Spanish forward is far from being over, considering Firmino has been linked with a potential switch to Atletico Madrid. In addition, there are speculations surrounding the futures of Salah and Mane too amid a difficult and terrible campaign for Liverpool, who have blown away their defence of their PL crown.

Nevertheless, a return for Luis Suarez has been unsolved, although someone like Inaki could come in handy for Reds, either as a false nine in place of Firmino or out wide, if Salah or Mane are no longer at the club. With that being said, the Reds look to be quite serious with their interest in Williams.
