Barcelona Superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly taken a final decision on his future at the club amid interest from PSG.
The 33-year-old who is in the final months of his contract with the Spanish giants is yet to sign a contract extension.
According to Reuters journalist Richard Martin, Lionel Messi has informed Barcelona that he intends to stay at the club beyond this season.
The Argentine will reportedly sign a contract worth half of his current deal with the club. But the length of the new contract stands to even out the amount Lionel Messi will receive on his current deal.
This news will bring joy to numerous Barcelona fans around the world, as the Argentinian looked destined to leave the club at the start of this season. The striker asked to leave the club last summer, but his request was unsurprisingly denied by Barcelona.

Lionel Messi was displeased going into the season, which reflected in both the player’s performance on the pitch also affecting the club at the beginning of the campaign.
The Argentina International has been linked with PSG, who have publicly admitted their interest in signing the forward this summer. Premier League club Manchester City have also been said to be interested in the Argentine, with Pep Guardiola reportedly looking to reunite with his former superstar.
Messi has helped changed the fortune of the club with his club winning the Copa De Rey and are now in contention for the La Liga title only two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
