Osimhen news: Lille Coach Christophe Galtier has revealed that the league 1 Club are destined to lose Victor Osimhen in next summer transfer window.

Lille Striker Osimhen enjoyed a fantastic first season with the league 1 club, netting 18 goals in all competitions in the 2019/29 season.


It is now certain Osimhen will leave the Stade Pierre Mauroy after interest from several clubs.

Osimhen have been linked with moves to Big European clubs due to his amazing form, with Serie A side Napoli leading the race for his signature.

Napoli  are facing strong competition from Tottenham hotspurs, Arsenal and Barcelona who are reportedly shown signs in the youngster.

The 21-year-old is yet to resume training after he was granted leave to attend the burial of his father.

“Regarding Victor and Gabriel, yes I integrated it, for a long time, that they are leaving, and we are working on players, who are currently here and who will arrive, likely to replace them,” Galtier told reporters at a Friday Conference.

He also stated that the Super Eagles star will return to training before the end of the month.

“Regarding Yusuf Yazici and Timothy Weah, they are not yet fully integrated into all the exercises we do. We take advantage of this first week to test and evaluate them. They have an individual program. As for Victor Osimhen, he will return around June 24 or 25,”.
