Barcelona are in disbelief as their Star player Lionel Messi hands in a transfer request.
The news of La Liga giant Super Star Lionel Messi exiting the club came as a shock to the fans of Barca and World football at large.
It all began after the Spanish club suffered one of their biggest loss in a competitive match losing 8-2 to Bayern Munich in the Quarter Finals of the champions league.
This led to changes in the club with the sacking of head coach Quique Setien and sporting director Eric Abidal and the appointment of Ronald Koeman .
However, the biggest change that is about to take place is the departure of their all-time highest goalscorer Messi, after it was reported that the Argentine International handed a transfer request to leave the club for free.
The 33-year-old has become almost indispensable at Barca playing key roles in his over 15 years stay at Camp Nou and will now like to try his look elsewhere.

Messi has been linked with a move to the premier league where he hopes to reunite with his former boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
