
Late Super Eagles star Samuel Okawariji Aged mother have reportedly died in Enugu.
The 88-year-old, Janet Okwaraji mother of late Super Eagles of Nigeria International Samuel Okwaraji has died according to reports.

It was announced on Sunday, June 7 by the brother of the ex- Nigerian International, Mr. Patrick, and another family member Ekwem Bizmark confirmed the sad news.
According to reports from ABN TV Mrs. Janet Okwaraji died at her Abakpa Nike Enugu resident, a few weeks after complaining of being neglected by the government, including the Enugu state government.
As of the time of the report, the particular cause of her death has not been determined.
Late Samuel Okwaraji died on national duty representing the Nigerian national team in a World Cup qualification match against Angola at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos on August 12, 1989, at the age of 25.

The news of her demise comes barely a month after the Federal Ministry of Sports and Youth development under Minister Sunday Dare benevolently sent cash rewards and food items to her.
The unfortunate death of her son 31 years ago was said to have affected Late Mrs. Janet who seemed not to have recovered from it ever since.
