Klopp’s two dynamic forwards were absent on Wednesday night when the Reds fell in a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brighton at Anfield.

The defeat leaves Liverpool in fourth place and seven points behind City, who have a game in hands, while Brighton is 10 points behind the last three teams on the table.

Jota was pictured doing running and ball drills Wednesday for the first time since injuring his knee in December.

Speaking at his post-match press conference after Brighton’s defeat, Klopp gave an update on the condition of the two wingers.

“Diogo is, I don’t know exactly, a couple of weeks, two, three, four, I’m not sure,” Klopp said.

“And we will see Sadio. It may be available on the weekend, I don’t know. He did not train with the team today. We will see.’

Klopp admitted that Brighton was the better of the two teams at Anfield and he feels that his team suffered from mental fatigue
