Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has criticized his players following their 3-1 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Klopp said the Reds players fumbled the ball too easily against Leicester City, adding that they opened up in the back.
Liverpool dominated a lot of possession during the match at King Power and took a well-deserved lead in the second half through Mohamed Salah.
However, James Maddison tied the hosts with a free throw before Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes scored to give the Foxes all three points against Klopp’s men.
“The game was really good, then we conceded these two goals,” Klopp told BT Sport. The third obviously we lost the ball too easily, one pass and that’s it.
“That’s something I don’t like because we were obviously too open at the time.
“That’s really – I already told the guys – it’s not right. But that’s the situation we find ourselves in.”
Liverpool’s defeat on Saturday means they have now lost three successive Premier League matches for the first time since November 2014.
