Juventus players, Matuidi and Rugani recovers from the coronavirus

Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi have each recovered from coronavirus and returned negative tests, Juventus have confirmed.

Juventus duo of Matuidi and Rugani have recovered from the coronavirus as announced by the Italian club on their website.

When Rugani tested positive for COVID-19, last month he was part of the first wave of high-profile confirmations for series A.

The second Juve’s case was Matuidi, though neither player had symptoms.

Both players result had returned negative about a month ago.

Fortunately for both, league games are still suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A club statement read: “The players have, therefore, recovered and are no longer subjected to the home isolation regime.”

The Italian Football Federation(FIGC) looks forward to resuming the season next month.

The old ladies have been praised by Italian Football Federation (FIGC) President for their strong stance against being awarded the Scudetto as they currently top on the league table, before the Covid-19 outbreak.

Italy has been one of the most affected countries in the world with 162,488 confirmed cases and 21,067 death as at Wednesday, 15th, 2020.
