Tottenham hotspurs coach, Jose Mourinho has reacted to his team 2-1 victory over Arsenal at the Tottenham hotspurs stadium on Sunday evening.

Arsenal took the lead through their striker Alexandre Lacazette in the 11 minutes of play, in less than 3 minutes Son-Heung-min equalised for spurs.

Toby Alderweireld headed in the ball in the 81 minute of play to give Mourinho’s side the victory.

The former Chelsea boss revealed his player did everything he asked tactically and emotionally, while also stressing the need for Spurs to fight for Europa League spot in the premier league table.

“The way the match was, everybody forgot that [about the less time to prepare],” Mourinho told a post-match press conference after the game.

“They did everything I asked of them tactically and also emotionally. They played the game as a fan.

“We spoke about it not being a game for the fans to enjoy. That’s very important. Now we can fight for a Europa League position, and I’m really proud of them.”
