The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has confirmed his client will at Chelsea next season, despite interest from Italy.
The Italian joined the club from Napoli in a £52million deal in 2018 under Maurizio Sarri and he has already played under three different managers at Stamford Bridge.
Jorginho has undoubtedly been a regular starter under Thomas Tuchel since he replaced Frank Lampard but the midfielder have been heavily linked with a return to his homeland, with Juventus reportedly said to be interested.
However, Jorginho’s agent has confirmed that the midfielder wants to stay in west London and will fulfill his contract, which expires in 2023.
Jorginho will stay at Chelsea,’ Jorge Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
‘He still has a two-year contract with the English club and is only focused on finishing the season in the best possible way.’
Despite Jorginho’s happiness in West London, Santos says he does eventually plan on returning to Italy to play in Serie A again
‘His dream is to win it [European Championships] with Roberto Mancini’s Italy,’ the agent continued. ‘When he ends his adventure at Chelsea, he would love to return to Serie A.’
