 Tottenham hotspurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed that any attempt to deny Premier League, leaders Liverpool the league title would be cruel.

Tottenham, goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris believes that denying Liverpool the EPL title amid the coronavirus will be termed “cruel”.

Liverpool are 25 points ahead of second-place team Manchester City before the suspension of the premier league in March, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Spurs were on the English Premier League table before games were suspended amid the COVID-19.

Speaking with French daily newspaper, Le, Equipe, Lloris said: “We are in a situation where everyone wants to finish and have the decision on the field.

“It would be terrible if everything ended like that nine [matches] before the end of the Premier League,” he added.

With nine fixtures left to be played in the EPL, it is uncertain if the premier league will resume, but there are reports it could return in June.
