Timo Werner missed yet another crucial big chance to score from inside the 6 yard box for his team in the champions league semi finals against Real Madrid.
Chelsea drew 1-1 with Real Madrid in the Champions League semi final and got that all important away goal to go into the second leg.
Although the blues should have had Madrid dead and buried in the first half missing a few chances to score, especially Werner’s easy chance.
Thomas Tuchel was caught frustrated on the side lines and he knows that could be very costly for his team.
Unfortunately it is not the first time that Chelsea’s new striker has missed a golden opportunity to score this season, and Tuchel also picks up on one in the last match against West Ham, a game that he did manage to score in.
“He missed a big one against West Ham and he missed another big one here but it doesn’t help to cry about it, ” Tuchel said.
“He is angry, maybe disappointed. Tomorrow he has to put his chin up. He is in the positions. We will never stop pushing, believing.”
