Luke Shaw has stated that former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses was the toughest player he played in his career.
Moses currently plies his trade with Italian giant, Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea, he spent most of his playing days at a number of premier league clubs on loan.
The former Southampton defender said playing the Chelsea winger as a 17-year-old was tasking. when asked by a fan on United Website. the hardest opponent he has faced?
“People always think I’m joking, but one of my hardest games ever was against Victor Moses when I was coming in as a 17-year-old at Southampton,” Shawn said.
The 24-year-old describe Victor Moses as quick, direct, and strong, and this made him struggle against the Nigerian.
“Maybe because I was so young. He was really quick, direct, strong and that was a challenge for me.
“I’ve played against the likes of Gareth Bale, Messi, Hazard, and they were all so good, but I always remember Victor Moses as a really tough opponent as well,” he added.
