Former Tottenham Manager, Mauricio Pochettino has been touted as the first choice for Newcastle United New owners.
There are reports that the future owners of St. James Park are willing to pay the former Tottenham manager as much as £19 million a year when he joins the club.
Pochettino has been without a job since last year after he parted ways with Spurs, he is eager to return to the premier league and has shown interest.
In a Podcast with Sky Sports in February Pochettino said: “To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League. It’s going to be difficult, I know, and for now, it’s a moment to wait and we’ll see what happens.
“I’m ready and waiting for a new challenge. I have the belief and confidence that the next challenge will be fantastic.”
Steve Bruce still in charge of the Magpies till the end of the current season, which is surrounded by uncertainty.
