Liverpool teenager Harvey Elliot has been rewarded with his first professional career contract by the Rehards.

Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliot who joined from Fulham last summer has been eligible to sign a professional contract with the Reds since turning 17 in July.

The reds did not confirm the length of the contract signed by Elliot, which he can play as a winger or forward.

The England international made only eight senior appearances for Liverpool including two outings during the premier league winning campaign.

“I think since the first day I’ve walked in, it’s been an indescribable journey so far,” Elliot told the club website

“I think now to top it off with my first professional contract is a dream come true, for me and my family. I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I’m just excited to give everything to the club and the fans.
The majority of Elliot’s campaign have come in domestic competitions.

He started the games each in FA cup and EFL cup, with notable experience over experienced Arsenal and Everton team.

Elliot became the youngest player to feature in the premier league when he played against Fulham last season aged 16 years and 30 days.
