Gareth Bale has been left out of Zinedine Zidane 24-man squad that will tackle Manchester City at the Etihad.
Real Madrid lost the first leg of the round of 16-tie 2-1 at Santiago Bernabeu in February.
Bale only featured for 99 minutes in Madrid last matches in the league that saw Los Blancos crowned champions of La Liga for the 2019/20 season.
With three goals in fourteen starts for the winger, Bale has had one of his most difficult seasons since he arrived in Spain.
He has been pictured on the bench during games bottle flipping, sleeping and pretending to watch games through binoculars in recent weeks.
