James Milner has revealed that he ”  has falling out of love” with football following VAR controversies that Marred the game 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Brighton.

Liverpool players we’re left raging after both Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane’s goals were canceled due to an offside call.

The premier league champions were on the verge of securing all three points after summer Signing Diogo Jota gave Jurgen Klopp’s side the lead in the 60th minute of play.

Brighton were awarded a late controversial penalty following Andy Robertson’s challenge on Danny Welbeck.

Referee Stuart Attwell initially waved play on but was forced to call for a spot-kick after viewing the side pitch monitor.

Pascal Gross converted the penalty to earn Br a Point for the home team, and Millner who suffered a hamstring injury that could rule him out for a month, says he fears for the future If the game with the current rules.

He said: ‘It was ours. It should be three points, in my opinion. I’ve seen the replay. Who would be happy? It’s not a pen.’

‘It feels like we’re standing here every week and discussing incidents. I don’t want to get into trouble, but for me it’s not a penalty.

‘Danny Welbeck said to me it wasn’t a penalty. There were four or five of them who felt it wasn’t a penalty.

‘To overturn it, it has to be clear and obvious. Is that a clear and obvious penalty, to go to the screen and overturn it.
