Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas singled out Bukayo Saka for praise after the Gunners defeated Benfica 3-2 in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 on Thursday at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Greece.

The Gunners were trailing 2-1  with 25 minutes to go and were about to be kicked out of the competition due to away goal rule.

However, Arsenal came to life, with Kieran Tierney grabbed an equaliser before Saka produced a delicious cross for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to head in the winning goal.

Fabregas was impressed with Saka’s display on the night as the youngster provided two assists.

Reacting, Fabregas wrote on Twitter: “Saka is such a good player. Such a maturity and intelligence for his age. Game changer.”
