Fábio Carvalho joins Liverpool from Fulham for £5 million plus add-ons
On July 1, the 19-year-old offensive midfielder will arrive.
Fulham have a 20% sell-on clause and their fee could grow to £7.7 million.
Faábio Carvalho arrived to Liverpool in January, but the transaction fell through on deadline day.
Fábio Carvalho, an aggressive midfielder from Fulham, will join Liverpool on July 1. The 19-year-old is poised to join Liverpool on a five-year deal worth £5 million plus add-ons.
Jurgen Klopp intended to sign the Portugal under-21 international in January, but the deal fell through despite personal terms being agreed and the player passing a medical.

Liverpool’s interest in the player never waned, and a deal was struck in principle last month. The Champions League finalists will pay £2.7 million in add-ons and have agreed to a 20% sell-on clause with Fulham.
“Liverpool FC can confirm Fábio Carvalho will join the club this summer,” the club said in a statement. On July 1, the 19-year-old forward will join the Reds for the first time.
“Carvalho played a key role in Fulham’s promotion back to the Premier League in 2021-22, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists in 36 games as Marco Silva’s side won the Championship title. He had featured for the Cottagers in the top flight on four occasions in the previous season, marking his first Premier League start with a goal away at Southampton in May 2021.
“An exciting talent born in the Lisbon region of Portugal, Carvalho made his debut for Portugal Under-21s in March of this year having previously represented England at youth level. Carvalho came through the academy ranks at Fulham and went on to make 44 senior appearances in total for the London club.”
Carvalho, a winger or offensive midfielder, was capped by England at under-18 level before choosing to play for Portugal. He’ll report to Liverpool for pre-season training and a tour of the Far East.
