Erling Haaland scoring record for Dortmund continueas Bundesliga returns
The world watched as Bundesliga resumed being the first major league in Europe to resume amid the COVID-19.
Bundesliga was suspended in March to help stop the spread of the deadly virus.
It was a good time to see the Revierderby as Dortmund hosted Schalke 04 at the iconic Signal Iduna Park stadium on Saturday.
Borussia Dortmund thrashed Schalke 4-0, with 2 goals from Raphael Guerrero, and one each from Erling Haaland and Thorgan Hazard to complete the thrashing.
Jardon Sancho came off the bench to replace Thorgan Hazard, ten minutes before the end of the match.
Haaland has been in a sensational form scoring 16 league goals in 14 matches, since he joined BVB from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.
In other matches of the day, Wolfsburg defeated Augsburg 2-1 away from home, FTFortuna Düsseldorf and SC Paderborn 07 played out a goalless draw, Hoffenheim lost 3-0 to Hertha BSC, RB Leipzig, and Freiburg shared the spoils in 1-1 draw.
