Eden Hazard admits to liking Arsenal as a youngster

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted that he was a fan of Arsenal growing up because of their French stars.


The 30-year-old has endured series of injuries since joining Real Madrid n 2019, that has prevented him from showing casing his talent.

The Belgian international spent seven illustrious seasons with Chelsea winning two Premier Leagues, two Europa Leagues, the FA Cup, and the League Cup before securing a major transfer to Real Madrid.


But it wasn’t the Blues who caught his eye when he was young, it was their rivals from North London.


“When he was little, the team I watched the most was the French team,” Hazard told On The Front Foot.

β€œFor me, the players I looked up to were Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry, and it’s hard for me to admit that because of my relationship with Chelsea, but I really liked the Arsenal team at the time.
