Queens Park Rangers star Eberechi Eze has stated that his dream is to reach the peak of world Football.
QPR forward Eberechi Eze has spoken about his career aspirations and his desires to reach the peak of the game, while also revealing players who inspire him to keep moving up.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with a summer move for the 21-year-old amid his impressive form, 12 goals and 8 assists, in 37 league appearances for the Super hoops.
“I have goals and targets that I want to hit. I think It’s more about me applying myself every day and the belief I have in myself, the backing I have in myself I believe that I can reach the heights of football.
“I want to get to the Champions League, World Cup, I want to be playing all of this. Not just competing, but really winning the Champions League as that’s my aim. Wherever my talent or assets take me, that’s where it is.”
“I don’t want to put any limitations on myself. In terms of my ambitions I want to be at the top. I’m going to work as hard as I can and apply myself in any which way possible in order to reach there. I’m not going to stop until I get there.”
Eze stated that his dreams are beyond qualifying for the Premier League and also named Tottenham forward Dele Alli and City winger Raheem Sterling as an Inspiration.
He [Dele Alli] has shown that it’s possible to go from a lower league and fit right in and even become more than what people expected you to be,” said Eze in an interview with The Beautiful Game Podcast (via Football. London).
‘When you look at guys like that, just like Raheem [Sterling] and [Jadon] Sancho, you appreciate what they’ve done and you look at them and it’s a round of applause to you because they’ve actually done it.”
