Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is ready to remain at the Etihad stadium as he gives an update on his contract situation.

Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne wants to stay at the premier league club and is willing to pen a new contract with the citizens.

The Belgian international future has been a topic of discussion, with the premier league giants looking forward to offering him a five-year deal.

The 29-year-old joined Manchester city from Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in August 2015 for a reported fee of €76m.

When asked about his future following Belgium’s 2-0 Nations League win over England on Sunday, De Bruyne told VTM Nieuws: “I am at a good club [with] good owners.

“We are a bit in talks – not advanced. At the moment I am doing the talks myself.

“I would like to stay with the club, so it’s easy. If I didn’t want to stay, it would take someone to mediate. But when you want to stay, it’s not so difficult.”

De Brunyne has played a vital role in City squad netting 37 goals and 69 assists in the premier league since joining Pep Guardiola’s  side.
