Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested on allegations of Rape after a woman called the police.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested on suspicion of rape on Sunday morning after a call was made by a woman to the police from his home address.
The woman reported that she was raped and was thereafter taken to the hospital.
The teenager was arrested at the scene and taken to the police station, for questioning and was later released on bail. He is due to return later next month for more enquiry.
Hudson- Odio, was the first premier league player to test positive for the COVID-19.
According to ESPN Chelsea declined to comment about the incident when contacted.
The 19-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Blues in 2019/20 season campaign, he is expected to return to training on alongside his Chelsea teammates after premier league agreed to resume training on Tuesday.
