Chelsea are reportedly considering bring back former talisman Eden Hazard from Real Madrid in the summer.
Hazard is in a “vicious cycle” of injuries, according to the Belgian national team doctor.
The Belgian international has just managed to feature in 35 games under coach Zinedine Zidane, with a paltry return of just 4 goals and 7 assists to show for.
The Real Madrid star was diagnosed with a muscle strain earlier this week and will miss another month after starting just six La Liga games this season.
It will be the ninth time he has been injured since he joined Madrid in the summer of 2019, a situation described as “chronic” and which leads many to suggest that his best years are behind him.
But Chelsea are offering their former player comfort, according to Defense Central

The Blues are reportedly willing to offer around half of the £ 88 million Madrid paid to take Hazard out of Stamford Bridge 18 months ago, an indication of how far the 30-year-old’s stock has fallen amid this series of injury problems.

Chelsea are aware of the fragile state of their old superstar, Hazard, which is troubling. But due to the player’s iconic status at the club and his past feats, which are unmatched in every way, they won’t be able to ignore the option of bringing him back.
It remains to be seen if the Real Madrid superstar secures a return to Stamford Bridge next summer.
