Chelsea must now turn their focus to overcoming Fulham in the Premier League tomorrow since playing Real Madrid in 1-1 draw in Spain

One eye will firmly be on the second leg to be played next week, meaning a full-strength squad must be available.

However, plenty changes is expected in the Blues XI, but not a drop in player quality.

Edouard Mendy stays between the sticks. Antonio Rudiger also remains at centre-back.

He could be joined by Kurt Zouma and Cesar Azpilicueta, in place of Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen.

Azpilicueta featured at wing-back against Madrid, yet was removed in the second half to save some of his legs for the weekend.

Therefore, the wing-back role goes Reece James, with Marcos Alonso recalled on the opposite flank.

Marcus Alonso has been sidelined for a while whilst Ben Chilwell excels in that position and will have to impress Tuchel if he is to tie down a spot.

In between the two wing-backs is Jorginho and N’Golo Kante. Chelsea don’t really have many other alternatives in midfield, as Mateo Kovacic continues to recover after struggling with hamstring injury.

The attacking midfielders Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner will be rested for the champions Second leg clash against Real Madrid as Timo Werner will be hoping to convert as much chances he gets after reportedly missing bigger chances.

They will be replaced by Hakim Ziyech as well as surprise selections for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Oliver Giroud; the latter hasn’t started a top-flight match since February.
