Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel Speaking in a press conference ahead of their clash against Leicester City, Thomas Tuchel claimed that a lot of clubs are ‘jealous’ of the situation his team are in right now despite their recent defeats.

It has not been quite a good few days for Chelsea. A loss to Arsenal in the league blew the top 4 race wide open and it was followed by a damaging defeat by Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester in the FA Cup final.

“If you have a group that arrives in this final, arrives in the Champions League final and in place nine or ten for top four, there’s no reason to doubt we’re not strong enough to handle this situation. Strong enough to arrive here, strong enough to handle the situation. That’s the challenge.”

“Because this is what it is about [getting positive results in the next 3 games]. There are a lot of teams out there jealous of our situation I can tell you.”

“Those teams would be even more jealous if Chelsea could trump City on 29th May to lift their second UEFA Champions League title in history. And if that happens, Chelsea would still make next season’s UCL no matter where they end up in the table.
