Chelsea fans have reacted to the news of Eden Hazard proposed return to stamford Bridge after Real Madrid decision.

Eden Hazard  could be on the move this summer, and some Chelsea fans are debating whether returning to Stamford Bridge would be a good idea.

According to the Mirror, Real Madrid are ready to take advantage of the Belgian international, just two years after he swapped Stamford Bridge for the Santiago Bernabéu.

Hazard has found life rather difficult in the Spanish capital following his record-breaking move, managing just 43 appearances in all competitions and scoring five goals.

Although it’s not just down to his injury record and form that could see him sold this summer.

Real Madrid are in a tough financial situation and may need to cut their clothes this summer to balance the books and stay within La Liga’s strict financial fair play rules.

Despite his recent injury woes, Hazard remains one of their most sellable assets.

Los Blancos may not recover much of the £88.5 million fee plus add-ons they paid for the 30-year-old in the summer of 2019, getting a good chunk of their £416k a week would go a long way to ease your financial worries.

zenithaimer said: “Sure. The experience he brings can work wonders with the young guns we have. That is if he is willing to fill that Mentor role and maybe not play every game.”

shercoder said: “Love him but no. We need to build for the future.”

ItsKaiTime said: “One of my favourite players ever, he left on a big high so I don’t think he should waste that.”

themancp said: “Support role/impact player. Sure. We should definitely not look backwards to build a team around a 30+-year-old dude who has been constantly injured.”

It remains to be seen if Chelsea will make a move for their former Talisman this season or in the future.
