Premier League club Chelsea and Confederation of African Football (CAF) sent Birthday greetings to Former Chelsea and Trabzonspor midfielder who turns 33 on Wednesday.
Chelsea and CAF took out time to celebrate the midfield maestro on their respective Twitter handles.
Chelsea Fc wrote “ The birthday boy! Have a great day, @Mikel_John Obi!”
CAF also joined in the celebrating the former AFCON winner.

The former Super Eagles’ captain represented the national team at several competitions including the FIFA U-17, FIFA U-20 in the Netherlands where they finished in second place, AFCON competition and at the FIFA world cup
Mikel lead the U-23 national team to a third-place position at the 2016 Rio Olympics game.
The champions league and premier winner with Chelsea football club terminated his contract by mutual consent with Turkish Top-flight side Trabzonspor after he called for the suspension of the league activities due to the coronavirus pandemic.
