Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi  is aiming to stay at Stamford Bridge this summer despite interest from Bayern Munich.

The 20-year-old has struggled to secure a regular spot under Thomas Tuchel, starting just 10 of Chelsea’s 30 games since the German replaced Frank Lampard in late January.

The English International has also been linked with a potential move to Tottenham in a swap deal for Harry Kane this summer.

Earlier this week, reports claimed that Bayern had rekindled their interest after a failed attempt to sign the winger two years ago.

Bayern had multiple offers, including a £35 million offer, rejected by Chelsea in January 2019.

The Bundesliga champions are now considering a new move for the Chelsea winger as they are keen to bolster their attacking options.

But according reports  Hudson-Odoi’s preference is to remain at Chelsea and he is keen to ‘force’ his way back into Tuchel’s plans according to Evening Standard.

‘Callum needs to understand how to use his potential,’ said the Chelsea manager.

‘He needs to understand how to push himself to the absolute limit, and not be happy with 80, 85, 90, 95 percent.

‘He simply cannot be happy with that in any single day. He needs to learn and understand that and live up to that. Once he does this, he will make his way and leave his footprints.’
