Jadon Sancho transfer:Borussia Dortmund CEO has denied reports of Manchester United submitting any bid for their star player.
Manchester United are in a race to sign youngster Jadon Sancho this summer in a bid to strengthen their frontline.
It was earlier reported that United was unwilling to pay the £108m price been demanded by Dortmund due to the financial crisis of coronavirus.
However, there were reports that Manchester United have reached personal terms with the 20-year-old, and he was set to sign a 5-year deal that will keep him at Old Trafford till 2025.
That report has been dismissed by Borussia Dortmund chief Hans Joachim Watzke, who maintained that there had been no contact between the two clubs.
So far, there has been no contact between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United in terms of Sancho,” Watzke told Suddeutsche Zeitung. “Also not indirectly or through alleged intermediaries.”
Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc, told reporters he expects Sancho to play for BVB in 2020/21.
