Atletico Madrid full back Renan Lodi tested positive for the COVID-19,this was announced on Friday. The Spanish government gave a green light for La Liga teams to return to individual training this week.
With this development, it means Atletico Madrid initial plans to resume training for their first team players won’t take place anytime soon.
Lodi, 22, has shown no signs of the virus but, has been quarantined in his home for the next 10 days,as a precautionary measure.
It was reported that the Brazilian was one of 10 Atletico Madrid players to come in contact with the COVID-19, he will undergo series of test in few days time to know his status.
Real Madrid to begin training on Monday
