Barcelona forward, Ousmane Dembele has suffered a hamstring injury that will see him sidelined for their champions league clash against Juventus.
The French international came in as a substitute in Barca 2-1 loss to La Liga newcomers Cadiz on Saturday.
Although he completed the match but it has now been revealed he suffered an “elongation” in the hamstring.
“Tests on Sunday morning, December 6, have shown that first-team player Ousmane Dembele has a hamstring elongation,” a statement on the club’s official website read.
“He will therefore not be considered for selection and the evolution of the injury will determine his availability.”
Dembele Barcelona Career has been plagued with injuries since his €105m move from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017.
He has started four league games this season, one more than he did the whole of 2019/20 season.
Barca will not only miss the Dembele, but will also be without Gerard Pique, Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti due toiinjury for final champions league group clash against Juventus on Tuesday.
