Arsenal vs Everton possible lineup, team news, Preview and Prediction.

Arsenal will host top-four chasing Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night in the Premier League amid news of their withdrawal from the proposed European Super League.

The Gunners played out a disappointing 1-1 draw against Fulham last weekend, with striker Eddie Nketiah equalising in the final minute of stoppage time.

Arsenal are currently ninth in the Premier League table, with 46 points from 32 league matches. They are nine points off fourth-placed Chelsea but sit just four points behind seventh-placed Tottenham Hotspur as the race for European positions continues.

Everton are 8th placed on the table, seven points adrift Liverpool and are currently on six games run without a win in all competitions.

If Carlo Ancelotti’s sides are to revive their top-four hopes they will have to put up a better display having played out three back-back draws with Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion and a 2-2 draw against Tottenham.

Martin Odegaard could be back on the team following a foot injury, while there could also be a comeback for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was recently treated in hospital after contracting malaria.

Arteta is likely to make changes from the side he started against Fulham, with Nicolas Pepe and Thomas Partey in line for the starts, while Nketiah could play down the middle if Aubameyang is not cleared to return.

Everton team news
Abdoulaye Doucoure, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Fabian Delph, Yerry Mina, and Bernard will not be available for the trip to Emirates Stadium.

However, Andre Gomes is expected to return from a thigh problem, and the Toffees are also hoping Dominic Calvert-Lewin will overcome an abductor problem in time for the match.
