Arsenal will pursue a move for Borussia Dortmund star, Julian Brandt if they miss out on signing Martin Odegaard permanently from Real Madrid this summer.

The Gunners obviously suffered from a lack of creativity in the early half of their season which encouraged them to sign Martin Odegaard in the winter transfer window on loan for the rest of their premier league campaign.

Arsenal are very keen to keep Odegaard beyond the current season, but they might struggle to convince Real Madrid about that if they are not offering up the Norwegian for sale.

Los Blancos have watched Odegaard thrive on another loan spell and might be considering him and giving him a prominent role in their team next season.

If Eventually that happens, Arsenal will have to find another creative midfielder to replace Odegaard and Bild viaMail Sport says they want Borussia Dortmund Brandt.

The German has been their radar for quite some time and making him a long time target and the reports even claims that they wanted to sign him before moving for Odegaard in January.
