Arsenal are said to be interested in bringing Emmanuel Dennis as a possible replacement for departing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Dennis, Manager Philippe Clement had revealed that the Arsenal target is set to depart club Brugge this season after spending three seasons at Belgium first Division club according to the Daily Mail
Arsenal are ready to pay the £22m price tag for the striker.
It had been rumoured that the Nigerian international wanted to leave last season but was forced to stay another year by the arrival of club brugge new Manager reported Mirror.
The 22-year-old has attracted interest from top European clubs like Newcastle, Sampdoria and Monaco, especially after he scored twice against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League group stage at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.
“I like challenges. I’ve been here for three years. My focus right now is I have one more game this season – the Cup Final – which I want to win, that’s really important to me, “Dennis told Sky Sports News.
“After then, we’ll see what happens, you never know.”
Dennis made is debut for the Super Eagles September 2019. The striker has netted 9 goals in 33 appearances for Club Brugge in this season campaign.
