Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be missing Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey for this weekend’s Premier League clash against Leeds United.
Tierney has not been in the Gunners’ last five games in all competitions has been replaced by Cedric Soares.
However, the club expects the Scotsman to return to training thoroughly next week.
Partey limped off during last week’s 1-0 loss at Aston Villa.
The Ghanaian midfielder had broken down on two separate occasions this season, but made his last comeback in January and appeared in seven straight games before he appeared to suffer a recurrence of a thigh strain against Villa.
“Thomas suffered a left hamstring strain during last Saturday’s game at Aston Villa and will miss the game against Leeds United on Sunday,” a statement read on Arsenal’s website.
“Thomas will continue to be evaluated and rehabilitated from this injury.”
