The Gunners are expected to be without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emile Smith Rowe  and also Martin Odegaard for today’s trip to Sheffield United.

Captain Aubameyang was dropped to the bench for Thursdays Europa League quarter-final first leg against Slavia Prague and is set to miss out through illness, while Smith Rowe is still out due to an ankle sprain.

Odegaard has also  been struggling with his own ankle issue picked up on international duty, he also missed the 1-1 draw with Slavia and  is expected to be absent from the squad with Calum Chambers also a doubt. He had a Knock in slavia’s draw and he’s uncertain to be fit for the game.

Mikel Arteta is likely to make a couple of  changes to his squad to Bramall Lane, with Pablo Mari hoping to play.

Mohamed Elneny could come into the midfield and Nicolas Pepe, who scored against Slavia, will expect to start too.

Gabriel Martinelli is also looking out for a place in the XI and Alexandre Lacazette should start again with Aubameyang out.
