The report adds that both players are likely to leave Real Madrid and Brighton this summer.

Ceballos joined the Gunners from Real Madrid in July 2019. He finished the season as one of their best players and helped them win the FA Cup for the fourteenth time.

In September 2020 it was announced that Ceballos will be on loan for a second season with Arsenal. The midfielder has played 25 games so far this season. He has played a total of 62 games in the Premier League after a year and a half.

Arsenal signed Runar Alex Runarsson from French club Dijon last summer. He came into play as the club’s new substitute goalkeeper after Emiliano Martinez joined Aston Villa for around £ 20million.

Most of Runarsson’s appearances this season have been in the Europa League. But the newcomer failed to impress during his debut season in England.

This led to the Gunners bringing in Mat Ryan on loan as a backup for current number one Bernd Leno in January.

The 28-year-old had spent the past three and a half years with Brighton in the Premier League. He had regularly impressed the Seagulls with his 121 top appearances.
